Love In Action

Greetings My Relatives

I spent a wonderful weekend March 3 and 4, 2012 exhibiting my own Indigenous-culture inspired artwork and also some manufactured craft pieces with Indigenous themes to raise funds for the MECGCaney Indigenous Spiritual Circle at the Peaceburgh Artist Showcase, organized by Chad Monesso and Annie Derek and others of what we have come to know at the "Younger Tribe". The two-day event was held at the First United Methodist Church in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

I was very pleased to set up my table among a great selection of talented Pittsburghers. I offered mostly a selection of posters and prints of my oil and acrylic paintings and drawings.

The view from my table was thrilling.

There was a great collection of vendors and readers.

including long, long time friends and collaborators Tenanche Golden.

and Allen Goodman

Aside from the terrific art there was a schedule of marvelous performance activities.

It was a very stimulating experience and another step toward creating a true PEACE-burgh.

Many Blessings

Miguel
